  305mm high. 915 x 610mm.
With 'horse-hoof' feet and a small 'waist' beneath the top this piece would have been used on a 'Kang'. This is a raised and heated area, used for sleeping and recreation, at the back of the room in traditional homes of Northern China. There is a fine bead outlining the space between the legs.
It is made of oil polished Narra (Pterocarpus Indicus).
